Frame number

I think it should be on the head stock and RFM as post war. Mine has it on the RFM but the frame was replaced shortly after the war and has no numbers on it. HOWEVER I have seen the blower bike from 1936 and around the top of the head stock horizontally, just under the protrusion where the upper bearing goes, it just had something like

1936 TT

Yep, as above - prefixed with a D. On mine, which left the factory Feb36, the RFM number is very faint - but it is there.
