I believe the left-hand Footrest Distance Piece on my C Rapide may have been shortened. Does anyone have a measurement of the overall length of that item? Also, I can machine a spacer to correct the length if I knew the taper angle.
Bike is progressing nicely thanks to all the support here!

Hi Bob. I have old spacers 4¼ and 4 5/16" long overall, although I made a new one 4¾" long to avoid using the alloy spacers, and to cater for a footrest hanger 'modified' in a crash. I would recommend using steel, for this reason. The taper is 20º included. Good luck. Mike

I have used round 1/4" thick alloy spacing washers in the past with a hole for the locating peg. Last time I did it was on the Comet when I made up folding footrests from old Triumph pillion rests and two LH foothangers
