Hi, I have used milled out blades on my twin racer for about 35 years with no signs of distress. I have also had 8" brakes fitted for 15 of those years.Compared to the strength of a pair of Bramtons, I do not think that your have anything to worry about. I would only advise against using them on a side car outfit.
