Hi
I'm doing up my open D Rapide but the engine is away being overhauled and won't be back for some time. I was wondering if anyone had details of a fixture(s) that I could make to allow me to assemble the front and rear assemblies in the meantime.
Regards Mac

I would think it would be simple enough with a D to put the steering neck in a vice and built/check the fork from there?

Rebuild Fixture

I hope this attachment works. While ago I asked the forum if anyone knew of a fixture to allow pre assembly of my bike whilst the engine is away without any luck.
I came up with the frame in the picture. It's made of Unistrut. The string is a precision alignment device which along with a spirit level is used to check line and level!
