It's another example of the reach of the Featherbed frame across time and history, showing Rick Vesco with a machine he created in the 1950's for running at the Bonneville Salt Flats in Utah. Tomorrow, Tuesday, at The Salt (World of Speed event Nov. 2-5 2018) The Turbinator will be attempting to be first wheel driven car to exceed 500 mph. This car was originally built by Rick's brother, Don Vesco (who passed a few years ago), has been modified some and a few weeks ago broke 482 mph.
