Actually a pair of 1 1/4" pipes tuned to the right length might work out very well on a Vin...... but you don't know until you try.... and a have not.

Just watched the video and I found it both mesmerising and (embarrassingly) vaguely pornographic :) I need to get out more.

I have not tried the 1-1/4" diameter pipe, but the math indicates that it is too small unless your redline in 3500 or so. The short 2" pipe works really well at high RPM if it is shortened (I use 28".) The math for a road racer single shows that something 1-5/8" ID pipe is best for 6000-7000 red line coupled with a manx megaphone. Lindsay Kyle, who uses this system is getting a solid 45 bhp, so the math seems to supply a good starting point.
