The next move was to crank case assembly, this is the job every one wanted in the cold weather the gas oven would take three sets of cases heat up take out when required temp reach wearing asbestos gloves( Remind me to sue vincents)place on a wooden bench and place in the main bearings plus gearbox bearing peen bearing area turn over push pump outer home making sure pump location op36 screw hole was in the correct position then place Jig on timing side case face and push in timing spindels the jig was marked to show which way oil holes and slots went the final depth of spindels was tune when the timing gears were fitted later,

David, please keep this up, it is so nice to know how it was all done. What was the atnosphere like in the company? What were the working relationships like between PCV PEI and the guys that actually made the machines?
