Ok, it's a shock to some. Reggie+Ronnie are not holding a gun to their heads. It's market forces at work. Grow-up and get used to it.

On ebay, Comet reached 15K & Shadow 48,400 but reserves were not met. A Comet fetched 22,000 pounds in US auction.

Hello Roy, Do you know what the reserve was on the Shadow, I can't Believe it was more than £48,000 or was that the mileage !!

Prices are in pounds. I've listed these prices to help members get "agreed value" insurance.
Don't know the Shadow reserve but look up the vendor on ebay and ask.
A Shadow sold for 69,000 pounds last year. (I don't have a pound sign. Keyboard only does dollars!)
Mind how you go.

For the pound symbol, Open Character Map by clicking the Start button
4f6cbd09-148c-4dd8-b1f2-48f232a2fd33.png
, clicking All Programs, clicking Accessories, clicking System Tools, and then clicking Character Map. £££££££

Kind of cumbersome, though. "GBP" is less work.

This is for Vista, but is the same for previous Windows versions.

£ is "option (alt)" 3 on a Mac. Simple, sensible & easy!
When it comes to insurance & rising Vincent prices spare a thought for the people who bought their "A" more than 15 years ago. The premiums are probably close to what the purchase prices were!!
