I thought I was going round the Twist ! I was sure it had 12 bids, I bet it goes for a lot more, I was thinking 4 or 5 thou', Because it has 2 heads. Cheers Bill.

Hello Rob, Just stick a spare plug in the hole, That is what I have done, I think it was a grass tracker, It has the breather hole in the timing case, Like the Fast Jim Smith tuned motors had. Cheers Bill.

If it had not been chopped I'd expect to see a slight fin above the cast in makers name and stamped numbers. The angle grinder probably took these off accidentally while trying to remove the numbers from an illicit engine.
Sorry to be so suspicious, it may have just been done to make it lighter for competition - how much did the numbers weigh? Has the heavy matching number been removed as well?

See..It wasn't Vincent men that did it,,anyone knows you only need a couple of spanners to get a Vin engine out.Oh and a beer crate.John
