Dynamo connections

Out on a run today I saw an AJS and instead of the two bullet connectors and fibre clamp in the lucas dynamo (this was the type with the bakelite end) it just had two 6mm roofing bolts and eyes on the wires, I thought good idea apart from the roofing bolts.
At home I measured my spare dynamo and the bullet connector sockets are the right size to tap 6mm so off with my dynamo, tap out and after fitting eyes on the wires refitted using two nickle plated brass screws I had, neat and with a much better electrical connection ( always a good thing with 6v )
