Does anyone know the whereabots of TXN 163 ?

Hello All,

I'm new on here and the VOC, I used to own a 1957 Rapide Series D reg TXN 163.

I had it for about a year in 1965-6 and sold it for £45 to get a 'modern' scooter, namely a Triumph Tigress 250 ohv, boy am I kicking myself now.

I have to apologise to whoever is loving it now, as I butchered the steering damper knob by drilling it.

I don't have the Rapide but I do have that damper knob or, at anyrate, one extremely like it but then it seems so does everyone else.

Looking at the dvla site it looks like the bike still exists on the road..Tax next due november next year..John
