Disc Brakes

I am just about to replace the rusty front rim on my Comet and would like to improve the front brakes. Advice would be appreciated with regard to single or double disc and 18 or 19 inch rim size and what is the best way to go about it- is there a kit available?

Comet brakes

Since you appear to be in BFD, Saftek in Cleckheaton will reline your brakes turned to fit the drums, I my opinion these are more than adequate for a Comet. Otherwise the man in Derby will do you a one disk conversion you supply a hub and he does the rest. Ken
