a 15 yr old Glendronach "Revival"...having spent all 15 yrs in sherry casks...utterly delightful. I recommend it without reservation for those inclined to taking a wee dram on occasion

Apparently under new ownership. I may have to hunt this down in Australia. Being a bit of an Islay man I am not averse to travelling to Speyside occasionally.

a recent addition to the cellar was also sampled last night - a cask strength, single cask, 15 yr old Balvenie..lacks the complexity of the Glendronach, but delicious nonethless - once past the fire of the additional alcohol content.

For some reason, I am reminded of a scene from the '70's Sanford & Son TV show. Fred was looking at a bottle of wine and says, " Hmm, 67, very nice!" Son Demond says, "Is that the year?" Fred says, "No, that's the price."
