I have a feeling that the water section was at the Kenton and Kingsbury Club Trial held between Cholesbury and Bellingdon on the Chilterns at Mathews brickworks.
I lived there as a boy and always walked over to the Trial every November.
If I am right how strange I could have seen George long before I knew what a Vincent was...

Vibrac you could be close, this trail I think started on the old A5 near Dunstable, some names Telegraph hill, Icknield way, Lilley Bottom, from Chalk to Clay, all cold and wet and with ex DRs boots frost on the toes

David,

I was wondering about the George Brown photo. It looks like he has the eccentrics in the side car position. Was this done on the Trials bike?
