Crankshaft balance

My first thread, so as one of many questions is, in the process of my Norvin build with comet engine, and the build of a twin for the rapide. The comet
engine has a new 9-1 piston to be fitted. How important is it that i have these cranks balanced and by whom. Thanks Martin

Not that I'm an expert but old MPH's and Forum threads all seem to think so....

I saw these people on a stand at Shepton Mallet yesterday - it is what they specialise in.
