How do we stand with having to take our Helmets off , When getting petrol ?.
My local one, I have never bothered for many years, And they have not said anything,
Not that I could hear them !.
With ear plugs etc it's a pain in the bottom ! .

Well on the bright side if the big end was going to go on the Comet better it went during the present emergency than a 'normal' year. Looking at the speedo reading I think I would be half way to Norfolk for the annual Rally , as it was I limped home with a light throttle.
Hey Ho another job for the Winter Workshop when Lockdown 2 starts.

My wife unencumbered with a full face helmet and 40years in motorcycle racing paddocks said "I thought it sounded more like a bag of nails than usual when you went out"

Perhaps, with a careful strip-down and analysis when you get to it, you could let us all know the cause?

As the mineral oil conspiracy has spread R is increasingly hard to find on the open road and I have to resort to desperate measures..... (the KSS lights are only excess weight anyway)

Unfortunately the late Comet did not have such a suitable perch and Its the only Vincent of mine that was not on R
