Hello everyone,
Advice sought please on hydraulic dampers for a Comet I am putting together.
I would like to keep it looking fairly standard and wonder what is available these days for the front and the rear?
Any info, advice and opinions gratefully received.
Thank you.

Is this for a Pre-War Series A Comet?

This question is no longer relevant as I have now moved the thread to the Post-War Section.

If your looking for std factory appearance then VOC Spares sell different options:

Maughans & Sons will also recondition an original to modern standards.
AVO in UK also make various damper options for Vincent which are adjustable and they have different model for front & rear to cope with the different requirement rather one fits all. They look similar but not identical to the originals.

There are also instruction by Paul Ennis on how to rebuild the original factory dampers and upgrade the damping characteristics and the oil seals but you will need access to a lathe to be able to do the work.
