I will convert the esa of my 1951 Comet. Iwant to fit a series D esa.Should i only use the outer springs because it is a single cylinder engine ? Erik

I think a Comet really only needs a standard ESA. But I did fit a series "D" one several years ago on my twin when the first new cam profile came out of the technical committee endeavours.

I can only find the new ESA in spares, It has the very thick outer plate, Like a "D",
I wonder if it's smaller width ?.
I tried to find enough bits for my new Comet, And found an old "D" outer washer and didn't think it would clear a Comet P/case ?, Like Hugo says.
I know Marcus plays with everything, Like me !,
Wonder if You ground a bit off the outside , Like I am thinking doing ?.

Erik, Is it a "D" Or the latest New Shocker from Club Spares ?,
I would think anything would be OK, Some of the Lads don't have anything with there Belt Drive ?.
And that strange thing with the E/Start on a Comet ?.

Makes you think when you see the ESA here on my ES Comet all it needs now is the same thing in belts
