The part no. is in fact PR50-60-9, Early issues of KTB (corrected in current issue) and the Swedish Burman parts list incorrectly show it to be 5/16" dia. this may have lead to incorrect studs being made.
The length however seems to still be open to discussion, Trev says 3 1/16", KTB 3 1/4", Swedish list 3 3/16", dicuss!

Here is one original on my bench right now


measures 3.245" end to end, .326" shank diameter, .445" worth of threaded/machined end on both ends.
PR50-60X-9

And beware of all the vendors trying to sell you a PR50-60X-8. Listed as a 5/16" x 3 1/16" .

It is not, it`s a 21/64" dowel, with a 5/16" thread at each end.
