Read the article in Classic Bike about John Surtees. Pretty impressive! He looks like he is ripping right along in the one picture on his Lightning.
Will he join everyone for the upcoming International Rally, maybe the guest of honor? Cheers, Dan

Which International rally, 2015? As far as I know John is not and never has been a member. I met him in the Cromwell pub in Stevenage during the 1999 International. He was
extremely friendly and sociable but took no part in the official proceedings.

2015 it is. Interesting he doesn't want to be a VOC member, but he still is a living legend. Sounds like we need to recruit him.

As a side note, the BMW k100rs I disrespected is now the best bike ever. It was used to jump start two generators in our last power outage.
