Good for around two late braking heavy stops (classic racing) then ....... less good.I think twin leading shoe brakes had a reputation for being potentially a bit snatchy, I guess 4 leading shoes just exacerbates the problem.

Glen: My frame number is EV42D. That is an Egli frame number, stamped on a completed frame at Egli's shop. My crankcase is stamped RSEV54. That was stamped by Roger Slater at his shop for a completed Slater bike. ChrisHere's a similar Slater Egli. Note pre #50 and also with Robinson brake. Memory can feel so definite and still be off.
