I am restoring the original carbu 229 of my Comet Serie C. As you know, the body is in bronze and painted. Which gray paint is gasoline-resistant and should you use it? Evidently the most similar than that of Amal paint in his time.

The paint needs to be a eurothane to resist modern fuel, I have used it with a glossy finish, and now with a matt finish, they come up fabulous.

There is a company in the states that supplies a similar paint. I'll see if I can find the can and report back.
