In the run-up to winter and Christmas its seems a good time to remind everyone, that if you are thinking of buying a Vincent motorcycle, or just an engine or frame, it is essential, before you buy it, to get them checked with Simon Dinsdale or myself, to make sure they are what they are claimed to be, or as the image above states 'fake or real'. Be warned, they are out there and remember, this is a free service.

It's important to email us an image of each component that you are buying i.e. engine number, one showing both crankcase mating numbers, the upper & rear frame numbers. They need to be close, clear and legible and if you are going to repaint them please take a photo before you paint them.

Our emails are:
Simon Dinsdale (Machine Registrar) registrar998@voc.uk.com
Jon Lambley (Machine Researcher) research998@voc.uk.com

Happy Christmas from Machine Data Services!
