Can anyone tell me how the gear indicator pointer is held on the Burman gearbox and how is it removed to replace the gear change lever? I know it must be simple but I can't see anything obvious.
This held by the peculiar shaped bolt in the end of the gear change shaft it is threaded 1/4 bsf. Attack it with a suitable adjustable spanner by turning anti- clockwise. It should then fall off in you hand
