I think you need to contact Velobanjogent, as reading it through, he seems to be the one who made the ones illustrated.

all the best mr. hutch.

Dennis Quinlan is a man of many talents. He was a marine biologist (I think) then became one of the most talented watchmakers in Australia. He specialised in
chronometric instruments and had a massive stockpile of parts. What he didn't have he would then make! Note the use of the past tense. Dennis sold his business
a few years ago and now concentrates on playing his banjo in a jazz band. I fear you are a bit late Peter.

Dennis is the only one who makes them as far as I know. I think the price is $400-450. If it is of any interest, they are ball bearing rather than plain bearing which means they can do high revs (over 3500) continuously. I believe that the original Vincent drives were high quality items. I emailed Dennis directly.

There was a bronze one on my Comet when I bought it. The friendly specialist who serviced my bike replaced it for a second hand and leaking standard one, because "wrong box for a Vincent". A year later I saw it again, on his Flash replica...
