Sam's little liner is truly amazing. Before his recent switch to Hayabusa power, he made a 350 MPH one way run with a single turbocharged 1100 cc motor. To be running close to the same speeds as the Ack Attack and BUB liners, both in the 3000 cc class, with less than half the displacement, is quite noteworthy. Sam was the first to set a sanctioned record above the Easy Rider's FIM record of 322 at 335 MPH, but it was an SCTA national record, not done under FIM eyes. I think Sam's one way run was the first over 350 (or maybe Vesco had a run over 350???) and I hope his new configuration will make him the first over 400. A Goliath slayer.

That is a story about mechanical survivability at peak RPM's for an extended period of time. WOnder what it would be like sitting in the office at the handlebars with this ride?
