Nice bits! I assume from the piece missing inside your primary case that you have another clutch? What chance a photo of the assembled primary drive before the cover goes back on, please?
My Egli Replica uses an AMC Commando clutch & gear box at fixed centres, no box movement. This allowed the use of an outrigger bearing on the AMC sleeve gear.
