That was me poking fun, I guessed from your post that you were unlikely to be a proud Concentric owner.
I mounted some new Amal premiers on my Rapide last year, they work very well so far, perfect starting and idle, close to 60 mpg Imperial loaded two up with gear.
A little too tight on the mounting nuts or even on the cap nuts will cause distortion and make the slides stick. The new anodized slides are nice and slithery but they are also fitted at a close tolerance.

I have the Avon sidecar tires from it. Harry Bellville gave them to me years ago.
