I remember reading about this machine back then, in a copy of the (rare in UK in the early sixties) american mag Cycle world. that magazine was so different from the blue un and the green un we had here. (A bit like the BBC and radio Luxembourg) the way it described the bike was inspiring (perhaps in the 'duct tapes' series of articles)
I love the way the engine is not polished a bit like the finish on a Grey Flash.

I assume that normally the rocker feed bolts are connected, but who knows what special approaches are in there.

It does say the engine "runs wet sump". So one can imagine lots of changes to the lubrication system.

With that oil tank (I assume) in front of the engine, maybe it is total loss for 1/4 mile passes?

Maybe someone nicked a souvenir by taking the front inlet rocker (non-feed ha ha) bolt?
