On the same page Bill Hindes' Shadow (5,000 miles) is offered for £300 and a Comet (20,000 miles) for £170.
Shadow prices may have increased 200fold, Comet by only 100fold.
That would make the proportional price of a set of waterproofs between £1,111.00 and £2,222.00.
Looking at it that way they've hardly gone up at all!
