Three restorations done by me, Shadow on the right finished in 2011, Shadow on the left finished June 2015, and in the center, my Rapide finished one week before the rally......;).........The "Dish" in the background made for some great photo's. Can anyone pick the item common to all three bikes........??? All have Kawasaki side stands. Now that I have upgraded the front and rear suspension, I had to lengthen my stand by 35 mm............o_O. Cheers..........Greg.

Sorry Bill, pictures I'm not good at, but they are off ZZR 250 or over your way I've seen the same but ZZR 400 or similar. They come with a switch which I just cut off, and they have a little 'Dick' hanging out the side just down from the spring attachment, which is great to hook the heal of your boot on to lower it into the down position. I've fitted loads of them, cheap as chips from the wreckers or ebay, best single mod to do to a Vin by a long shot. Only needs an 8mm piece of plate made up and fitted behind the stand assembly so the pivot bolt clears the LH pillion footrest plate. You can generally use the horn mounting bolt hole for the aft one and drill one more 3/8 hole for the front. Works great.
