Anyone remember Series A Meteor-StAlbans?

I am in the process of bringing back to life a 37 Meteor that spent over 40 years in the StAlbans area.I understand a Mr Walter Crocker owned this machine for many years.Unfortunately Walter is no longer with us.
According to club records it is a matching bike although I have very little info regarding it's past. :confused:
Ideally I would like to reunite it with it's original registration number.
Any possible photo's or leads would be much appreciated.

Unfortunately I have no idea.
I have frame, engine, gearbox & Oil Pump numbers but no registration number.According to the despatch records it went to Conways on 30th July 1937.

Ive tried DVLA & licencing offices with no luck using the Frame number.

I know it's a shot in the dark but just maybe someone would have an old photo or remember the bike that Walter Crocker owned in that Area?
