Hi, just moved to near Whitby and wondered if there are ever any group meets in this area over the North York Moors. Would love to meet other Vincent owners. Any recommendation of nearby meets/clubs would be great. Thanks to all in advance.

any Vincents in the North East

Evening Brian Vince Jaques here living at Yarm on Tees and probably about thirty five miles North of Whitby. Vincent activity is fairly sporadic but there are lads getting out and about on them. Lord Stones Cafe near Carlton in Cleveland is a favourite haunt at the moment and on the 15th June it will be a stop off point for the Boundary Classic Charity Ride so you may want to give it a try then.

Vincents in the NE

There are lots seven or eight Vincents in the North East, and we had a camping weekend at Alford, 30 miles west of Aberdeen, last weekend. Whitby is about 250 miles south of Alford, which in turn is about 200 miles south of the Pentland Firth.......
Colin Dunbar runs a series of meetings at Crawford, just across the border on the A74, mid-week, a reasonable run from where you are. Details were in the Scottish section notes earlier this year. You don't actually HAVE to be a Grumpy Old Man to attend, although Colin describes the meetings as GoM meets.

Vincents in York

Why not attend the York Section meeting on the 1st Tuesday of every month at the Bay Horse, Fulford,York. Also this weekend 20/22nd June there is the annual camping weekend at Beacon Farm, Sneaton(off the B1416) which must be a hop, skip and a jump from where you are.

York weekend

I can't make it this year, but it's only about 350 miles, so maybe next year. I believe that John Stainton, who lives in the deep south just north of Perth, is going. Everything's relative.......
