Another Four Stroke Fox Unearthed…

Have just unearthed this one.

It's not one that the late George Spence knew about (he very kindly gave me his list before he passed away).

Maybe more information to follow if the owner feels inclined.

George and I long suspected that the well publicised figure of 160 x two-strokes and 40 x four-strokes was inaccurate.

Older members may remember Ron Macrae, a West London section member who had two Serie's 'A' Rapides back in the early '60's. He had a younger brother, Eric, who rode a Vincent NSU Fox and lived in Stanmore, Middlesex. I met Eric several times on his bike but cannot remember if it was a two stroke or four. I don't think he was a club member or what happened to the bike. It was certainly a neat piece of kit.
