Will an Amal MK 1 32mm concentric bolt straight onto the std. rear Series D intake manifold with no clearance issues anywhere and with the generator hump on a std. open Series D? Cheers Carleton

My D (previously Jeff Bowen’s) has 26mm Concentrics fitted, I can take some photos of the rear one and it’s manifold and surroundings tomorrow if that would help.

Photo's would be helpfull please do. while the 26mm concentrics are smaller they would be close enough to give a good idea of clearence issues if any. Thank you for your quick response Carleton

I’m sorry it’s taken a few days to do this. Clearance to the generator clamp is 1/2” clearance between the head of clamp bolt and carb drain plug is 3/16”
However there is plenty of space behind the air filter to move the carb back to gain more clearance.
