Alton Part six

Hey Russ,
I'll let you know, I have to convince my local Frenchman to write an email for me, then it will go off in the post!

Justin you don't need a translator, Paul Hamon speaks and writes excellent english, the bummer I found in sending my Alton back was the postage costs, it cost me £34.50 to send. On its return the French postage cost was 16 Euros what another example of rip-off Brittain.

Justin, can you let me know how you get on with getting a new unit out of Alton and you might like to point out to them that the unit is only 4 years old.

Russ

It lasted "that" long!

I had three units in four years.........

Now all I have to do is get my bike back on the road with Dick & Normans alternator system :D

My three-phase one failed after about a year of use, and maybe two years after I bought it. Paul replaced it without question. Given that the three phase model has been withdrawn, I guess that sonner or later they all do. No problems so far with the replacement single phase.
