Alp did attend the October meet at El Mirage with the bike and the whole crew. He was pre-staged to make a run as the next in line when the meet was terminated due to high wind and a dust storm.
El Mirage is only one mile long, so the major change to the bike was the addition of a front brake. The photo shows James Salter on the left and Alp behind the bike.
