What type of fuel is the bike running on in the video?
Alp mentions both methanol and nitromethane.
From a bit of reading, a specific engine running at 7000 rpm burned 27,000 btu per minute on gasoline, 35,000btu/minute on methanol and 65,000 btu per minute on nitro!

Alp is no stranger running bikes on nitro at the flats. He has run a Triumph at 170+. In August he was just slowly dialing it in. I think he saw 140? in 3rd ! He's coming back at the end of this month. A bunch of VOCers are going to go out to the flats to watch and have a mini-rally.

The World Finals, an SCTA event marking the end of the season, is scheduled for September 29 to October 2, 2020. This has the potential of being a great outing. Alp is pretty happy with how the bike is tuning up. He is still in the testing phase, but he will be trying out 4th gear this time.

The World Finals has been an "off and on" event. The cool air present at the meet can be a great help in achieving high speeds, but the increased chance of rain can also cancel the event. When it is good it is great.

There will be a group of Vincent owners there. The wide-open spaces are pretty safe at Bonneville if you can get there safely.
