Bernd's shoes have a very deep section, I didn't notice that on his prototype that he showed in Houffalize. That should make them pretty stiff!

Interesting TLS mechanism, this is mine for my SS100 replica, Found out after I came up with the idea Velocette did the same decades ago !!
The arm between the RH cam and shoe moves when the brake arm is pulled, the double A plate rotates around the centre of the brakeplate and pushes the other shoe, the adjuster is for initial set up.
