Acewell Rev Counters

After following all the posts on @vibrac's Acewell Speedometer thread I have been looking at the Acewell instruments in a rev counter mode.

Has anyone successfully used one with a magneto, or specifically a modern BT-H electronic magneto?

I am thinking of fitting one to my 1938 Rudge race bike. I know I will need to run it off a small 12v battery.

Thanks in advance

David

The BTH will run a Scitsu so why not?
I have used and broke two in what was in effect well under three seasons, so I would rather pay a bit more money than buy another Scitsu . The breakages might be my own fault for not taming the front end of my bike.

The Acewell makes good claims about shock resistance.
