Hi

thoughts about 2 start oil pumps.

Installed to increase flow to big end and camshafts at higher revs.

Should one modify the crankshaft quill etc to increase the flow through to the big ends, otherwise would the benefit be lost through the operation the pressure relief system diverting the oil away?

is there a risk of over oiling the bores ?

My view, is there is nothing wrong with the standard pump for the big end. All I suggest is to make sure the oil gets away fast from the big end.

Increase in Oil Supply

It might be a 100% increase in supply but I do not believe that the oil ways are overly restrictive. I have covered 177,000 miles on a two start pump and all is working quite well.
