Bob Guptill was at Bonneville in 1968 and volunteered to help the then owner. Bob say's it didn't very fast (mid 120's) and the owner was really disappointed. The clutch finally gave up and it was over.... That's the bad news.. The good news is, this was a missing D Engine and it's now recorded along with it's numbers, plus the Prince it came out still exists, albeit with a C ("shudder") engine. Maybe, someday they hopefully, could be reunited?

I don't know, years ago, well over half were recorded and they're still popping up. That's why when you see something, the numbers and any other info should be taken down and sent to the Machine Registrar.
