Thanks to all who replied, purchasing a bike outside of your usual breed is a huge and difficult learning curve that is made much simpler by drawing on the skills, expertise and knowledge of the people on forums such as these.So I missed the Comet for sale in UK, gentleman decided to sell locally, but will keep my fingers crossed and eyes open cos I am determined to own the one of these fine beasties.
