1938 works series A racing twin

check on, the vincent.com this bike was all so ridden by Manville Barrington in Ireland 1938 and won the the 100 mile event at Phoenix Park Dublin so said Phil Irving in his autobiography at Donnigton I was told was leading the race when the clutch started to slip I do not know the result, it would be very interesting to see the works build sheet on this machine the likes of Cliff Brown Pat Mc Iver Tommy Thomas, Jack Williams, and all so George Brown,

oil tank

A friend from the UK has been in touch with me to tell me of the 80 odd made this was the only one with a separate oil tank all the others shared with the petrol tank,
