I believe Robert was on call for that one.
And maybe a touch of Dan. Definitely some Dale Baston. ( electrical wiring )
I sourced some bargain eBay parts for it and might have e wheeled some metal, although that might have been for the model 7, can't remember.
That's how he gets us to do all of this stuff, we can't remember!

My engine has some work by John. The crankshaft rebuilt with all new shafts by John, as well he fitted oversize liners to the cylinder muffs and he line honed the roller bearing outer races to the correct clearance. I have a McDougalator, not the only one on this ride either. Plenty of great advice from Robert and Dan helped me to put this bike together. My bike goes really well. It has 11,000 miles on it now. This year the oil leakage has been reduced to the point where I actually had to lubricate the chain. I am now able to ride about 1500 miles before I have to wash the oil off my bike. A bit of oil comes from the decompression cable hole, which I thought I had sealed last year by fitting a better spring return inside the timing case. Some oil also seeps out from some other places at the lower front of the engine that I haven't figured out yet. With this small leakage and the very low consumption I didn't have to add oil at all in the last 1500 miles.
