Mike is probably talking about this

https://www.harborfreight.com/1000-lb-steel-motorcycle-lift-69904.html

They are almost always on sale for $300.
Morning Bruce, We were talking about the small jack that Mike has 2 of , Under the Engine, I think Mike's might be better than mine, Mine was just painted steel, Top and bottom, = a bit too slippy for me, But with a bit of a bodge, Good old Gaffer Tape, Super, Where would we be without Gaffer Tape !!.
Cheers Bill.

Sorry guys, I misunderstood. Bill, I just realized that you were talking about the scissors jacks but I thought you meant the large lift when I replied. The small jacks are very good too. Cheers, Mike

Wellseal or Hylomar for me. Been using them for 50 years. Good enough for Rolls-Royce, got to be good enough for me. But I'm always prepared to learn.
As a novice to Vincent’s I’m interested in your post re Hylomar. I’ve looked at the Hylomar website and there’s plenty of choice!! Which specific ones do you use for what job? Thanks Paul

Hi, didn't realise there were so many sealants under the Hylomar banner. Originally there was just the one - Universal Blue is the one I was referring to. Just a smear is all you need, a tube lasts me years.
