Misc: Everything Else Reducing the height of a twin seat

The seat on my Rapide is one of Neal's seats, I lowered the front by drilling two new holes just bellow the originals and I then bent the lugs slightly forward to stop the seat pressing on the rear tank bolts too much, It probably lowered the seat by a half inch, which made quite a difference. This was also because the bike actually sat higher due to the coilover Thornton on the rear and the modified steering stem mods carried out on the front end. I had to lengthen my side stand mounted on the left pillion plate by 35 mm.

I havent fited a side stand yet untill I have got the plot settled down (coil over rear and new stem) here is the slimmed longer seat . Launch postponed at T -10 minutes on the rollers I suspected new carb but mag looks like the culprit Bang Bang Bang, Hey Ho suns out cant spend another day in workshop find another bike cant miss riding after the spring weve had.

So the seat went backwards and down, I can see this working.

thers still a bit of iron work left, +lots of pics saved me about an inch, i did it only for apperance purposes though....:p
