I'm glad it's working for some people now.
My point is - there are only two types of users - VOC Members and non-VOC Members. But really the forum just sees all visitors to the forum the same.
Therefore, if you are having trouble with the forum remembering you or not, it MUST be your browser that's causing you trouble. If every visitor was having problems, then I would look into what's going on, but it's NOT everyone. As I've said previously - your first port of call should be to re-set your browser - clear the cache and cookies. This normally sorts things out.
If it doesn't, then I suggest you download the Firefox browser and see what happens. If Firefox remembers you without any problems, then hey-presto - it must be your original browser.

If you were getting a message about 'you do not have permission to view these images' while trying to watch a slideshow, I think things should be fixed now.

Yes, I managed to work out a way of removing the header when viewing a slideshow, so you don't keep having to scroll down or miss a bit.

uploading photos
Well the slide show works for me now.Anybody had trouble uploading photos today.I load the pics hit the upload button,then the second page with the header 'wait for browser forwards you to next page' appears and i get a blank screen saying DONE.Can't go back a page, I have to exit and come back into the forum and the photos have not uploaded

Don´t upload more than 10 at a time.
I found groups of four worked the best,or you´ll be sat there for ages.(and things stay controllable.)
The providers don´t make it to obvious that with high speed internet,you can download at an amazing pace,but uploadings not nearly as fast.

uploading photos
Are the formats acceptable ( there´s a list somewhere on the upload page)
I had big problems uploading yesterday(for the first time),but i was trying to upload to much,also had problems today with a windows bitmap(changed it to jpeg and it worked).
A message about waiting for browsers i haven´t recieved or seen yet.
The upload page stayed the same,just the process graphics changed (rotating symbol) until the photos where uploaded,then it changes to the page where you can process the uploaded photos (titel/name/description).
