Are you going to the IoM Rally and are you from the area Leicester or Wolverhampton ?

Can you please bring me one tapered bearing for my sidecar wheel?
It is a Timken 07100-07196 (cone 25,000 mm x cup 50,005 mm).
I cannot buy it in Holland at this moment, and ordering it from the factory will take 3 to 4 weeks. According to bearingnet.net it is in stock at:
Sterling Corporation, Sterling House, 2 Law Street, Leicester, LE4 5GR, Tel: 0116 261 0330
and
Carfax Bearings, Transmission House, 30-34 Birmingham New Road, Wolverhampton, WV4 6RY, Tel: 0190 233 8111.

We travel from Hull to Liverpool 26th august and we are sailing to Man at 7 pm.
The outfit is a C Comet with a blue and black (pre-war) laBoheme sidecar.
The hotel is Sugarland, 14 Loch Promenade, Douglas.

I still can use the old bearing, but I want a new one as all the other parts are new too...

Hi Nobby
I'll take the bearing details to work tomorrow and see if it is available near there.
If I can get I'll call you, is phone number ending in 90672 good for a call during the day?
All the best

Nobby, I seem to recall reading somewhere in MPH that you no longer want to be called Nobby. Too bad , once you decide on a Forum name you are stuck with it for life.
I know this to be a fact, I tried to change my depressing sounding "Worntorn" to a more upbeat "MonkeyPants" but it was a no go.

Changing Usernames...

Hi Glenn

If you want to change your username, all you have to do is ask! Unfortunately, this is something that has to be done elsewhere in the software.

If you really want it changed, just send an e-mail to editor998@voc.uk.com and tell me what you want it changed to, and I'll take care of it.

Regards

Graham

Then Monkey Pants it is.
nobby can have his wish as well. No need to stay with a depressing name or a name that is too rough in texture.

Thanks Graham

You have that completely wrong, it`s Nobby he now wants to be known as, rather than his previous name.

From MPH :
"P.S. Time for a new Vincent, but also time to get a new name. Actually it is my old name, because it is my christian name, Cornelis. So the nickname nobby is gone now?"

I take this to mean that the nickname nobby is gone and the christian name Cornelis is in.

I will sign from now as Cornelis, but I will listen to the name Nobby, especially when you have a spare twin engine or complete bike for me...
