My alloy tank is very thin, It's like the bloke who made it had never seen a Vin'.
But he did make it for Racing, Don Alexander had one made for his and Ian's 1100cc and I asked Don to add an order for me, Been under the bench since 1984 !.
This is my last tank, So I have to use it.
Trying not to buy one from India !. Cheers Bill.
PS did a temp' repair on my Comet tank, Tiny pin hole, Mac' Was right !," Smelly Comet ", Used Gorilla Glue.

Baglux/Bagster is the solution, they did/do one that suited a Moto Guzzi that was not to dissimilar to the Vincent tank, you have to get the tank cover modified to expose the oil filler cap, but that is a simple job for someone that works with this sort of stuff, A J Trimmers in Bourne End do an exceptional job, I would pm Stuart Metcalfe, aka Black Lightning, he had one done quite recently, once you get the the tank base cover sorted out you can choose from a range of tax bag styles and sizes, but the Alpha looks good. Just a word of warning Bill, these items will not be Lidl or Aldi prices!

Ron Kemp had a baglux made for a Moto guzzi (as far as I remember) if anyone has found a contemporary baglux that will fit even with modifications let us know

I think my Tank is too thin, So I have gone with a Bicycle back Pack from Halfords, Nice padding etc for £30.
Cheers Bill.

My dream is a baglux for all seasons ie a universal small baglux and harness for a vincent and a harness for (say) the velo etc etc the only old bike I dont need one for is the 52 Triumph I have a neat bag for that which velcros to the tank grid.
